An awareness camp on the importance of revenue records and updation was held on March 30 at Samad Rokchan, Changthang.

The awareness was imparted by the revenue team headed by Tsering Motup, SDM, Nyoma.

Tsering Motup complimented the people on completion of important land document and said that it would facilitate the people in many ways besides availing various benefits from Govt. welfare programs.

Nambardar, Samad Rokchan extended gratitude to the SDM and the whole team for dedicating Jamabandi record for the nomad people of this area.

Tanvir Ahmad, Tehsildar, Nyoma and other senior revenue officials also attended the camp.

Samad Rokchan is the largest pastoral village in Changthang with 140 families and more than 500 population.
