Thus, we have zero pendency," said Dorjay Wangchuk, Executive Manager, JKEDI Ladakh Division.

I am more confident. The only thing needed is the ideation and an objective to achieve it and financially the government will support. I am going into the retail industry because I have knowledge about the designing, merchandising and it’s my hobbies.”

Stanzin Zasal, “I have applied for seed capital funding and my project is on Pashmina. Reason to take up this project further is because there is a lot of scope and I feel that this can help to generate employment for few more people.  I am aiming to make my product organic, with a traditional touch and best in quality wise.”
A power presentation was presented highlighting the various schemes under JKEDI in Leh.

JKEDI has been established by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in March 1997 to effectively enable entrepreneurship development in the state.
