This session focused on disaster preparedness, the responsibilities of officials during emergencies, and strategies for effective response and post-incident recovery.

The second phase took place in the Nyoma market area, specifically engaging shopkeepers and hotel owners. Practical demonstrations and interactive awareness sessions were conducted to strengthen community-level preparedness.

Key topics covered included:

Earthquake safety measures and protective actions
Basic first aid techniques and CPR demonstrations for cardiac emergencies
Safe handling of LPG cylinders and responses to gas leaks or explosions
Proper use of portable fire extinguishers and fire safety protocols
Immediate first-aid response during accidents and emergencies

The initiative aimed to build resilience among officials and residents, ensuring the community is well-prepared to handle disasters and emergencies effectively.

Participants responded enthusiastically, appreciating the hands-on training and pledging to further spread awareness within the community.
