10 days EDP training for PMEGP beneficiaries begins in Kargil

In the 10 days Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) training,190 trainees participated from December 23 at language Centre, Kargil.
 
The training programme was organised by the Production and Marketing Training Centre (PMTC) Pampore of Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India.
  
The training was imparted for the beneficiaries of Kargil district whose loan cases have been sanctioned under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).

While appreciating the efforts of PMTC Pampore for the training programme, Aga Syed  Muhammad Shah, Councillor Bhimbhat Constituency, chief guest expressed hope that it will go long way in providing the young and budding entrepreneurs proper technical inputs and professional training. 

He urged upon the trainees to exude wholehearted enthusiasm in the training sessions so that they are in a position to start their business ventures and translate their dreams into real success.

The participants highlighted the need to set up a Rural Self Employment Training Center (RSETC) at Kargil on the lines of other districts in the state. The centre will prove instrumental in imparting necessary training to aspiring entrepreneurs on a continues basis about different business opportunities in service, manufacturing and other allied sectors. 
 
Ghulam Hadi, District Officer Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB), Kargil Mudassir Rouf Wani, General Manager, District Industries Center (DIC), Kargil and  District Lead Bank Manager Kargil besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
