His Eminence the 13th Kundeling Rinpoche visits Ladakh

Visiting Ladakh for the very first time, the 13th His Eminence Kundeling Rinpoche was given a warm reception on June 26 in Leh.   A mandala was offered at Chowkhang Vihara.

The reception was arranged by the LBA Zanskar, youths, different society and people of the Zanskar region.

Tsewang Thinles, LBA President welcomed His Eminence on behalf of all the people from Ladakh and hoped for Rinpoche’s frequent visit and blessing in the coming days.
 
He said, “With the change in time there is an immense need to develop and emphasis more on moral education and to make the youths of Ladakh well known about the Dharma and the importance of its implication practically. Thus, he requested Rinpoche to visit and hold an interaction session with the youths of Ladakh in the coming years.”
His Eminence Kundeling Rinpoche expressed gratitude and happiness to all the people for the warm welcome. 

Rinpoche said, “The faith and devotion of the people for the Buddha Dharma didn’t came newly among the people rather it is centuries old. The teachings of the Buddha are impacting the life of many people in all parts of the world.”

“The importance of teaching and its blessing depend on the people who follow because there is a need of understanding and putting the teachings into practical implication. Knowing the Dharma is not enough but the development and change in mind is the sole importance.”

His Eminence further stressing and reminding the teaching of His Holiness Dalai Lama said, “The studies and the teachings needs to be investigated and put into action in our daily life rather than just following blindly and believing it because of faith only.”

Talking about the visit of His Holiness every year to Ladakh, His Eminence termed people of the region very lucky and asked people to work on the teaching practically to bring peace and develop the body, mind and soul.
