25 people to perform Haj pilgrimage this year

A second phase Haj training orientation was organised by District Administration Leh on July 8 at DC Conference Hall Leh. A total of 25  Haj members including 10 ladies will be performing holy Haj Pilgrimage this year. 

Wishing safe journey and meaningful Haj to the selected Haj members, ADC requested them to perform prayers for world peace and hoped that their visit to Mecca Madina would bring peace and communal harmony in Ladakh.

Iftikar Ahmad, Special trainer imparted training about all the rules and modalities for performing Haj in detail with practical demonstration. 
 
To ensure trouble-free pilgrimage to the Haj members of Leh, the Haj members requested district administration Leh to approach higher authorities to send all the Haj members of Leh in one group. 

For which Moses Kunzang said that the district administration, Leh has already written a letter to the concerned authorities in this regard.

He further requested Haj members to give valuable feedbacks to district administration after completing Haj so that higher authorities would be approached in future for further improvements in facilitating Haj members of Leh. 

Headquarter Assistant DC Officer Leh Mohd Sharif was also present on the occasion.
