Student celebrates Raksha Bandhan with ITBP personnel’s in Leh

Celebrating the 73rd Independence Day, Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Inspector General Indo-Tibetan Border Police sector, Leh unfurled the National Tricolour at Delhi Public School, Leh. 

Also, along with the National Integrity day, students of Delhi  Public School celebrated Rakshabandhan, Sister and Brother Bond Day. Students tied Rakhi to the personnels of 24th Battalion of ITBP.

Rajesh Sharma said that maintenance of the cultural values and tradition is very important.

Hardev Kaur Sidhu, Principal, DPS  talked about the importance of remembering the supreme sacrifices of our leaders, freedom-fighters, revolutionaries and common masses who fought for the India’s freedom. She encouraged students to keep intact the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.

Scintillating cultural programs were also showcased. 

Kunga Dorjey, Deputy Commandant, staff and students of DPS Leh were present.
