Free coaching for SSC students Over 200 candidates attend introductory session

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the district administration Leh in coordination with the LAHDC has launched a 45 -days free coaching programme for students appearing for SSC public examination on 12 March at Sindhu Sanskriti.

Dr. Sonam Dawa, Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Leh was the chief guest on the occasion while as EC, Agriculture, Tsering Wangdus, Deputy Commissioner, Leh Parassana Ramaswamy G, President, LBA, Tsewang Thinless, SSP, Leh Tsering Gyalpo, Addl. DC, Rakesh Badyal, faculty members from Chennai, district officers were present.  

Deputy Commissioner Prasanna Ramaswamy G, who launched the programme, said that coaching outside Ladakh is very expensive. With the launch of this orientation coaching in Leh, the candidates will be more capable and confident in facing the competitive examinations ahead. 

"Three expert teachers from a reputed institute from Chennai have been roped in to coach the students and they should utilise the opportunity,” Prasanna Ramaswamy G, Deputy Commissioner said.

DC further said that this coaching course will be conducted on the basis of SSC syllabus and necessary handouts will be provided to the candidates during the course of coaching sessions.

He said plans were afoot to start a coaching centre for entrance test and competitive examinations if this coaching will be successful.

Dr Dawa appreciates the visionary initiative of DC. He said the candidates must inculcate the values of 3D's determination, dedication and discipline. He urges the students to set up as a role model for the rest of the batch.

 President, LBA, Tsewang Thinless on behalf of the people of Ladakh extended thanks to DC, Leh Prasanna Ramaswamy G for his efforts in providing the coaching to the Students of Ladakh.

SSP, Leh, T. Gyalpo also spoke about his journey in Police service career. He urged the students to work hard.In the end, an interactive session was held where the doubts of the students were cleared.
