A one-day seminar on the theme ‘What is Education’ was organised by  Ladakh Buddhist Association in collaboration with Socially Engaged Buddhist of Ladakh (SEBOL) on November 22  at Chowkang Vihara.

 

Pawan Kumar, Educationist, and His Eminence Palga Rinpoche were the guest. 

 

His Eminence Palga Rinpoche said that the Ladakh region is at a critical juncture of the history. Without realizing how rich their culture is the young generations are changing the practices fast to westernize themselves. It is the responsibility of locals to trust in values and traditions of this region.
